It is being re-“discovered” here in the West, something that has been known in the East for thousands of years, that Mind, Body and Spirit (soul) are all interconnected and that there is a Divine Higher Power Within each and every one of us. We have all been raised in a society that is geared to being a “part” of something or fitting into a particular group whether it is religiously, spiritually, medically, or whatever. Just take a closer look at the commercials on television. It seems that they want to convince us that unless we buy a certain product, or do a certain thing that everyone else is doing, that we will never quite be good enough, or healthy enough. We have been convinced of this for a long time. So we reach and reach and reach, but we never seem to get “there” (wherever there is) and we never seem to be happy, no matter what we do or how much we buy.
We are all individuals in every way. No one person is the same as any other person and we are in a point in time that more of us are questioning more and more the meaning of our existence, the meaning of life, why we are here on this planet, etc.
